(NewsNation) — 2025 has been a huge year for TV, especially with hit shows like “Severance” and “The White Lotus” releasing new series. But some fans have faced bad news as their favorites have been canceled.
Shows like “The Sex Lives of College Girls” and “S.W.A.T.” had their last seasons recently, as both weren’t renewed this year. CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said, “We have to be fiscally responsible,” when talking about shows that have been canceled.
“It’s not easy to end shows, and we had a lot of options this year,” Reisenbach said, according to Deadline. “The schedule is really full, and so we always have to look at all of our shows, look at the aggregate information, the creative of where they are in their life cycle, what the finances look like, what the ratings are, and then we make those tough decisions.”
Here are some of the TV shows that have been canceled this year.
