Car expert reveals the used cars you should never buy

A car expert has detailed the seven vehicles you should never buy from a dealership. Keshawn Cage, a car sales representative at a Lexus dealership in Washington , often shares his tips with drivers and aims to sell cars 'the right way.' In a recent TikTok video , Keshawn revealed a list of cars that drivers should avoid purchasing at a used car showroom.

The first car was a Nissan Rogue: 'This is the first car that dealerships are going to try to stick you in if you've got bad credit with a little bit of money down and it's not for you - I'm telling you. 'The check engine light lives on this car. It's probably on the car that you bought, [but] they probably just turned it off before you bought it. Stay away save your money, get something else.'

His next car to avoid was a GMC Acadia. The car expert explained: 'This bad boy is known for having ABS issues, transmission issues, and it shifts super rough. 'If you see this at the used car dealership, you need to run.'

Keshawn said the Chevy Equinox was the 'same thing.' 'Bad for business, basically the same car. There's a reason why there are so many of these used on the lot and it's not because people like them,' he revealed.

The fourth model of car was a Nissan Kicks which Keshawn said 'kicks rocks.' 'Small as hell, every light lives on this vehicle. Electrical, terrible. Transmission, shot. Reliability, nonexistent,' he shared.

He also urged buyers to avoid Jeep Grand Wagoneers. 'This thing costs too much money for the issues that it has. Nothing works on this,' he urged, telling people to look up public forums about the car. 'Jeep has a problem of being reliable and I don't know why.'

Keshawn also suggested staying clear of Jeep Renegades without offering much of an explanation. 'I shouldn't have to say much about it - it's a damn Renegade,' he quipped. The last car, or cars to never buy from a used car dealership was: 'Any Audi or any luxury car that's 10 to 15 years old.

'That's not luxury anymore, that's not foreign, that's domesticated.' Hundreds of people flooded the comments, reflecting on Keshawn's advice and sharing their own experiences.

'As a used car salesman - take bro's advice,' a comment read. '[My] friend worked in the Nissan dealership in the repair center. He said never ever ever buy a Nissan,' someone shared. 'Renegade the worst car I ever had,' another said.
