Ana de Armas Sells Her Nate Berkus–Designed SoHo Loft for $3.5 Million
Ballerina actor Ana de Armas is bidding farewell to her downtown Manhattan apartment three months after listing the property. The Havana native found a buyer for the pre-war SoHo abode and recently closed at the full asking price of just under $3.5 million.
De Armas’s two-bedroom former apartment sits in a Neo-Greco building constructed in 1910, which offers views of the bustling Cast Iron historic district below. The Knives Out star purchased the unit in 2022. Its original features—including exposed brick, ultra-high ceilings, and tall south-facing windows—have been preserved, though she tapped AD100 designer Nate Berkus to update the space, resulting in elegant, modern interiors. The actor’s renovated residence boasts an expansive living room with white oak bookcases and integrated TV nooks.

The home’s airy chef’s kitchen is decorated with sleek white cabinets, marble countertops, a breakfast nook, and a striking herringbone tile backsplash. Standout amenities in the kitchen include state-of-the-art appliances from Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Bosch. A stately center island anchors the cooking area. In the corner, a custom leather banquette seats up to 10.
Elsewhere in the unit are two-and-a-half bathrooms, one of them a spa-like en-suite that houses dual sinks, a steam shower, and a deep soaking tub. The primary suite offers a custom walk-in dressing room with ample storage space.

De Armas has yet to share the reason for parting ways with her tasteful SoHo pad. It was reported in January 2023 that the star had sold her Los Angeles mansion. She currently maintains a slim real estate portfolio that includes a $7 million rural Vermont abode, reportedly to support a more off-the-grid lifestyle. “I feel like nowadays, we all want to go away from the craziness of the world,” de Armas told E! News in 2024. “We all want to have the chance to build our own safe space. I’ve made that decision myself… I found a home where I really feel off the grid. I can collect myself and only bring there who I want to be with. I have my little cocoon there.”
Carl Gambino and Justin Montero of the Gambino Team at Compass held the listing.
