The Porsche 911 Club Coupe Is a Carrera T Reserved for True Porschephiles

To say Porsche 911 variants are a dime a dozen would seem crass, both for the cliche nature of the phrase and the fact that it would take about 1.3 million dimes to pick up even Zuffenhausen's cheapest Neun Elf these days. But there are a lot of new 911s. Porsche's car configurator currently tallies up 23 variations, assuming (as they do) that the special-edition likes of the 911 Turbo 50 Years and 911 Spirit 70 count as separate trim lines and not mere option packages.

The brand's latest 911 falls into that same category, but like a good vodka martini, it comes with a twist. The 911 Club Coupe is, effectively, just a 911 Carrera T in a very distinctive spec — but you'll need to be a member of the Porsche Club of America to take one home.

We'll circle back to that, but first, more on the spec. All 70 examples of the new Club Coupe come slathered in a Paint To Sample shade called Sholar Blue, named after PCA founder Bill Sholar. It's a metallic take on Club Blau, the color used on the previous 911 Club Coupe that rolled out in 2015. Offsetting the color are silver accents on the door logos and Guards Red touches on the grille slats above the flat-six and on the standard SportDesign front fascia; the Satin Black wheels also feature silver touches. And, of course, there's a special logo commemorating this year's 70th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America.

Inside, the PCA logos continue, from the puddle lamp projector to the illuminated door sills and center console. A black leather interior with Speed Blue and Guards Red stitching is standard, alongside seatbelts in the latter shade. That said, if you're going to bother picking one up, it would seem foolish not to option the PCA-colorway-patterned tartan fabric seat centers seen here. (While you're at it, why not snag the Porsche Design Chronograph 1 - 911 Club Coupe watch designed to go with it?)

The rest of the Club Coupe package is typical 992.2-gen Carrera T — which is to say, utterly delightful. There's the 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine out back making 388 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, connected to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual capped in a gorgeous walnut shift knob. The PASM Sport Suspension, a mechanical limited-slip and Porsche Torque Vectoring are all standard, as are the Sport Chrono package, rear-wheel steering, a sport exhaust and a GT sport steering wheel.

As mentioned, just 70 examples will be sold, although one extra will be built on top of that for inclusion in the Porsche Museum. The first car for sale will be raffled off to benefit the Porsche Club of America, and the other 69 will go to PCA members first starting this fall. The price remains TBD, but considering the previous PCA Club Coupe special of a decade ago cost about 18% more than the Carrera GTS it was based on, a similar bump over a 2026 911 Carrera T would put this new one around $166,000.
