Ozzy Osbourne's death

The iconic singer and vocalist of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, died at the age of 76 on July 22, 2025. He left behind an unforgettable legacy in the music world.
Years of battling health problems

The singer had been struggling with health problems for years. In fact, he said during his last concert, "I've been laid up for f**** six years."
Parkinson's

That number, six years, coincides with the time the singer has known about his Parkinson's disease. The illness was diagnosed in 2019.
He described the illness as "h*ll"

The singer described his experience as "absolute h e l l" during an interview with Piers Morgan. "My family has been so supportive. I couldn’t have done it without them. It’s been really a bad scene," he explained.
Not everything was due to Parkinson's

However, the singer's son, Jack, asserted that his father's health problems had more causes than just Parkinson's.
Injury caused by an ATV accident

Jack explained to Piers Morgan that his father suffered a neck injury for years. It was the result of a 2003 collision while riding an ATV, he said.
Little by little he became immobile

The site 'UTVDriver' asserts that it was a Yamaha Banshee, one of the most dangerous ATVs. Osbourne ended up in a coma and had to recover from the accident for years. Despite this, the singer continued working until he was diagnosed with Parkinson's.
“I carried on working with it"

Ozzy said he never really gave the accident the importance it deserved. "I just got up and carried on but I had broken my neck, and I carried on working with it..."
Metal rods in his spine

But then he had another accident, in his home, in 2019. According to The Daily Mail, the Black Sabbath frontman had to undergo extensive back surgery, where metal rods were inserted into his spine.
In 2019, "everything came undone"

"I had that fall, and then just everything came undone," the Black Sabbath frontman recalled. The 70-year-old had to get surgery.
Four operations between 2019 and 2023

In the end, Osbourne underwent several operations in his neck and back, with the fourth taking place in 2023, The Guardian reported.
"I can't do it anymore"

It would be his last surgery, because, as the BBC cited him, "I can't do it anymore." He was 74. Osbourne also canceled his planned tour of the UK and Europe in 2023 due to feeling "physically weak."
He gave one last show

As his health deteriorated quickly, Osbourne and Black Sabbath organized one more concert on July 5th, 2025.
"You've got no idea how I feel"

For the occasion, he spoke to the press. "I’ve been laid up for six years, and you’ve got no idea how I feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart," he said.
His last Instagram post

The day before his death, Ozzy uploaded one last image to his Instagram account. Some people saw a prediction in it.
