Southeast Ocean Boulevard runs from downtown Stuart east over the St. Lucie River, through Sewall's Point and to Stuart Beach before turning north into State Road A1A, or Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway, on Hutchinson Island.
This vital stretch of road is home to numerous restaurants, the Elliott Museum, Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center, and Memorial Park, which hosts some of the area's largest annual events.
Here are the restaurants that make up the Ocean Boulevard dining scene in Stuart, roughly defined as the section between Confusion Corner and the St. Lucie River, excluding Sewall's Point and the beach.
3Natives

3Natives acai and juicery restaurant has locations in Stuart, Palm City, Tradition and St. Lucie West
3Natives is a Florida-born healthy restaurant chain that was founded in Tequesta in 2013 by Anthony Bambino. The Southeast Ocean Boulevard franchise location is owned by Emily and Melissa Leimer and was opened in 2022. Menu items include acai bowls, smoothies, salads, hot and cold wraps, bagels, juices, coffee and espresso.
Alice’s Family Restaurant
Alice's Family Restaurant was opened in 1989 and named after the founding owner, who has since retired. It offers deli fare while providing employment training for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities under the guidance of the ARC of the Treasure Coast. It has a diner atmosphere with indoor seating and an outdoor patio. Breakfast menu items include breakfast platters, omelettes, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and benedicts. Lunch menu items include salads, clubs, sandwiches, wraps, a burger and chicken tenders.
Bagel Break Deli
The bagel shop's website claims it is Martin County's only bagel shop with real New York-style bagels that are kettle-boiled and baked in a real stone oven, not steamed, and all the salads are made from scratch. There is another location in Jensen Beach, along with the Stuart spot. It offers an array of bagels and toppings, omelets, breakfast wraps, specialty sandwiches, subs, wraps, salads and homemade baked pastries.
Broadway Bagels & Deli
The restaurant is owned and operated by New York City native Sebastian Gallego and his wife, Anislet. It has indoor seating and an outdoor pet-friendly patio overlooking a fountain. It offers a variety of bagels and flavored cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, a waffle or pancake platter, a coffee and tea bar, fresh salads, desserts and ready-made sandwiches.

Carmela’s Brick Oven Pizza and Wine Bar
The Italian cafe and wine bar is owned and operated by the Fatigate family and has been around for 20 years. The website claims the family has crafted a menu influenced by traditional, formal Italian dining and paired it with simple, delicious pizza recipes and one of the area's finest wine lists. It has three distinct dining area options, including a casual, family-friendly section, an intimate wine bar and a formal dining room. Specialty pizzas include the Grandma Anabella pizza with chicken, mozzarella, roasted red pepper, basil and balsamic reduction, as well as a stuffed pizza with meatballs, sausage, ham, pepperoni, salami and mozzarella. The menu offers soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, pasta and entrees, such as pork shank osso buco, chicken piccata and shrimp Francaise.
Carsons Tavern
Carson Novins opened Carson's Tavern in Stracuzzi Plaza in 2007. The cozy, dark wood tavern features a well-balanced menu with daily specials, weekly live music, craft drinks, draft beer and seven large flat screen TVs. It offers indoor seating and outdoor seating in the breezeway. The menu features salads, sandwiches, burgers and dinner entrees, such as seafood jambalaya, linguini and meatballs and shrimp scampi. There is also a late-night menu on Saturday nights.
Fiorentino’s Italian Cuisine
The Italian restaurant located in Cedar Pointe Plaza offers Italian comfort foods in a casual setting. Menu items include fettuccine alfredo, eggplant parmigiana, filet of sole Francese, fried calamari, lasagna, veal Parmigiana sub and ravioli.

Pepe & Sale is located just off the beaten path in downtown Stuart.
The Italian restaurant was opened in 2020 by Eric Cavallaro and his wife, Maria. Eric grew up in the restaurant industry, with his parents, who immigrated from Sicily to Brooklyn. The focus is on serving modern Italian dishes with an extensive wine list in a fine dining atmosphere and a bright, contemporary setting. It offers indoor and covered outdoor seating. Menu items include carpaccio di manzo (beef carpaccio), tagliatelle alla bolognese, ravioli allo zafferano (crab, leek, potato ravioli, sauteed zucchini, shrimp and creamy Spanish saffron sauce), angello in crosta di pistachio (pistachio and bread crumb crusted New Zealand lamb chops) and salemone alla Mediterranea.
Pez Vela Fusion Kitchen
The Latin and Pan-Asian fusion restaurant is owned by Lou Lentine, who also took over the Taco Shack of Stuart in 2020 and opened Stack Burgers & Bourbon in Stuart in 2024. Lentine wanted a restaurant that reflected his passion for exceptional food, innovative cocktails and an extraordinary wine experience, offering an unforgettable dining experience in a vibrant atmosphere. It serves an array of fresh seafood and innovative dishes made from quality ingredients. It specializes in crafted sushi that combines its traditional techniques with a modern, inventive twist. Menu items include dry-aged empanadas, double pork ragu, Pez sucotash and cumin-crusted tuna.
Pho Yummy Bar & Cafe
The authentic Vietnamese restaurant offers pho made with a rich, flavorful broth, fresh ingredients and a variety of meats and toppings to choose from, as well as popular Vietnamese dishes in a casual setting. Signature dishes include stir-fried noodles, vermicelli bowl and banh mi. Other menu items include egg noodles, egg rolls and chicken rice (chicken, egg and jasmine rice). It also offers desserts, boba tea, beer, wine and Vietnamese filter milk cafe hot or cold.
Piatto Divino
Piatto Divino, formerly named Pane e Vino, is co-owned by Alfio Trovato and Eric Cavallaro, who also owns Pepe e Sale. Trovato is an experienced restaurateur who was born and raised in Catalinia, Sicily, where he also honed his culinary skills before he embarked on an expedition through Europe to immerse himself in different culinary cultures. Drawing inspiration from his travels and Sicilian heritage, he opened Piatto Divino to showcase a menu that combines the best of Sicilian, Neapolitan pizza and Sardinian influences. It offers indoor and covered outdoor seating. Menu items include pizze bianche, gnocchi Piatto Divino (homemade tricolor Italian flag gnocchi served with Italian sausage ragu in a creamy vodka sauce), ravioli ricotta, linguine scoglio (linguine with a red seafood sauce, calamari, mussels, clams, shrimp and tiger shrimp), branzino and veal or chicken Milanese.
Pusateri’s Chicago Pizza
Tom Bean, a Miami native and longtime resident of Sewall's Point and Sailfish Point, purchased the 18-year-old restaurant in 2021, after it had nearly closed during the coronavirus pandemic. It offers authentic Chicago-style thin-crust pizza with the same menu as when Pusateri's originally opened. There is indoor seating and a pet-friendly patio. The restaurant's signature square-cut, pub-style pizza is unique to Chicago and its suburbs. The menu features gluten-free pizza, Chicago hot dogs, hot sandwiches, wings, build-your-own pasta dinners and baked dinners, such as baked ziti and baked spaghetti.
Ramen Hana & Sushi
The cozy restaurant in Cedar Pointe Plaza is known for its ramen, sushi and izakaya small plates. It is the sister restaurant of Ramen Hana & Wings in Port St. Lucie. Menu items include Japanese kurobuta sausage, spicy miso ramen, shoyu ramen, abura soba, duck ginger balsamic teriyaki and chicken or pork katsu.
The Chef’s Table

The Filet Mignon was a perfect 6-ounce hunk of tender, medium rare beef atop creamy stoneground polenta and a rich chianti demi-glace.
The fine dining restaurant owned by Carra Crehan was opened in 2008 and offers authentic Italian cuisine. In 2019, Crehan hired executive chef Paolo Ferretti from Senigallia, Italy, under an O-1 visa, which is only granted to individuals with extraordinary ability by sustained national or international acclaim in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics. It is an intimate 54-seat space that blends elegance and a sense of home with an extensive wine list and multiple pairing menus. The "Gourmet Tasting Menu" is six courses selected by the chef and paired with wines. There are also seasonal pre-fixe menus, which are currently Summer in Italy, Summer in Stuart and Summer on the Coast.
