The Label variant features a plug-in hybrid V-8 powertrain, just like the base model did, but produces 738 hp and 738 pound-feet of torque from its combination of a 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine and an electric motor.

BMW made no changes to the powertrain for 2026, and claims the Label will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

The XM Label has a top speed of 155 mph, but can be unleashed to 175 mph if you pay extra for the M Driver's package.

For 2026, the XM is available in a new color from the BMW Individual customization program called Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic, seen here.

The 23-inch alloy wheels can also be had with a Jet Black finish, and there's a new "Welcome Light Animation" that plays using the headlights, taillights, and LED grille surround.

BMW also increased the charging rate for the 25.7-kWh battery, which can now replenish at up to 11 kilowatts, compared to the 7.4 kilowatts of the 2025 model.

BMW also introduced new upholstery options for the cabin, including the full Merino leather option seen here that combines Night Blue with Vintage Coffee accents.

The other two new interior choices include a full leather look that pairs black with Vintage Coffee accents and a partial leather setup that matches Silverstone with black accents.

The 2026 BMW XM will begin production at BMW's Spartanburg, South Carolina, plant in August of 2025.
