EAST LANSING, MI— South Lyon is heading back to the MHSAA division 1 softball final with a victory over Utica Ford.

South Lyon scored the lone run of the game in the third inning at Secchia Stadium on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing on Thursday afternoon.

South Lyon (32-7) will take on the winner of Hudsonville/Saline in the D1 softball championship at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.

South Lyon defeated Allen Park 5-0 to win the championship in 2021.
