Smart Selangor bus service in Subang Jaya resumes in full, with all five routes now back in operation

The Subang Jaya city council (MBSJ) has announced that all five of the Smart Selangor bus routes in Subang Jaya are now fully back in operation. The council said last Friday (June 20) that the bus service for routes SJ01, SJ02, SJ03, SJ04 and SJ05 had resumed in full, with the service for the first three routes having already been back in operation on May 26, The Star reports.

This comes after the service was temporarily suspended on May 2 because of issues pertaining to the bus route permit application by operator SKS Coachbuilders.

The land public transport agency (APAD) then clarified that the disruption was due to the late submission and non-compliance by the operator and not because of a delay in processing the permit.

On routes SJ01 (BRT/LRT USJ7 – KTMB Subang Jaya), SJ02 (LRT Pusat Bandar Puchong – LRT SS18) and SJ03 (BRT/LRT Kinrara BK5 – SMK Bandar Puchong Jaya), the bus service utilises three buses, while both SJ04 (KTM Serdang – Hospital Serdang) and SJ05 (Putra Permai – Taman Bukit Serdang) routes operate with two buses each.
