Day 2 of Back Home Festival rocks on with music, vendors, and a rage room
NEW MARTINSVILLE, W.Va. (WTRF) — The Back Home Festival kicked off day two of its three-day event, keeping the live music going as thousands of people travel to New Martinsville to see what’s in store.
7News shares what festivalgoers can expect from this can’t-miss, music-filled event.
Despite the heat, musicians are keeping things cool as the Back Home Festival continues rocking out this weekend.

Bands like Here Come the Mummies, Marc Ridge & The Revelers, Mars Alley, and many others are taking to the stage for several nights of music, memories, and fun.
Not only can folks listen to live music, but they can also check out dozens of vendors, ranging from merchandise and food trucks to artisans and activities.
Community members can even take a swing at a traveling rage room!
CVB founder Sandy Hunt invites everyone down to see why this amazing event was voted Best Festival in the state.
It is the best festival in West Virginia, but you have to experience it – experience the joy, that’s the thing. Joyful people, people loving one another – and it’s all ages, they’re in front of the stage dancing from the toddlers to the old folks. So come on down. ”
Sandy Hunt – Wetzel County Convention and Visitors Bureau Founder
Sunday, June 29, is the last day of the event.
Vendors will be open throughout the day, and the first act will take to the stage at 12:30 pm.
The music will continue through 8 pm and finish with a laser light show.
