Worlds away from kids' educational videos is Sirens, a new limited satirical, dark comedy series by Molly Smith Metzler, based on her 2011 play Elemeno Pea. The show takes place throughout one weekend, when Devon, a self-destructive young woman, travels to a wealthy private island to find her sister, Simone. Devon is struggling to care for their ailing father, who has dementia, and wants Simone to take some of the burden.
