The Biggest Vampire Flick Of The Year Is The Top Movie On Max Right Now

The blood-soaked Ryan Coogler horror film stars Michael B. Jordan as criminal twin brothers who return home to the Mississippi Delta to open their own juke joint, only to be confronted by a dangerous supernatural evil. The vampire flick also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller and newcomer Miles Caton.
So far, “Sinners” is the biggest original horror film of the year and the third-highest-grossing horror movie of all time domestically, having surpassed $350 million at the global box office, according to Variety.
Although the movie falls short of being a perfect masterpiece, HuffPost wrote that it was still an electric silver screen spectacle that packed theaters worldwide.

The Victoria Mahoney-directed sequel, based on the superhero comic book series, reunites a crew of immortal warriors (Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli and Chiwetel Ejiofor) as they face a powerful foe who threatens their mission to protect humanity. The first film, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, premiered on Netflix in 2020.
‘Riff Raff’
“Riff Raff,” starring Jennifer Coolidge, Bill Murray, Gabrielle Union and Pete Davidson, is currently one of the top movies on Hulu. In the dark comedy thriller, a former criminal’s quiet family weekend gets interrupted when he learns that a pair of notorious gangsters is coming for him.
‘Heads of State’
John Cena and Idris Elba’s action comedy, “Heads of State,” premiered on Prime Video on July 2 and is still trending at No. 1. The movie stars the two as a U.S. President and U.K. Prime Minister who reluctantly team up to thwart a global conspiracy that threatens the entire free world. The cast also includes Priyanka Chopra, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino and Paddy Considine.
‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’
After the latest installment of “Jurassic World” hit theaters on July 2, one of its sequels is now trending on Peacock. 2018′s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” picks up three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, with Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) returning to Isla Nublar to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from an impending volcanic eruption, only to uncover a conspiracy that threatens the whole planet.
Also starring in the movie are BD Wong, Jeff Goldblum, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Rafe Spall.
