Shottenkirk Honda broke ground on their new facility which is right beside their current location in Decatur.
Shottenkirk Automotive Group, a family-owned company with over 60 years in business has 29 dealerships across the nation.
According to local officials, the new facility is expected to create additional job opportunities, enhance service capabilities with cutting-edge tools and technology, and provide a space to host community events.
The current Honda Facility has been in place for over 45 years.
