Inside Dallas’ newest burger joint, which sells just one main menu item

The burger is "juicy, delicious and well-balanced," said skateboarder and NADC Burger co-founder Neen Williams.

Turn off your brain and walk into NADC Burger on Dallas’ McKinney Avenue. Here, you don’t get to choose what’s for lunch or dinner.

The brand-new restaurant — a viral sensation when it appeared in some cities — has but one burger on the menu.

“Do one thing and do it the best you can,” co-founder and co-owner Neen Williams said of the burger. A professional skateboarder, Williams opened the first NADC in Austin with chef Phillip Frankland Lee in 2021. NADC stands for Not A Damn Chance, Williams’ catchphrase.

Neen Williams, co-founder of NADC Burger, is ready for his first bite.

The restaurant has grown to nine permanent locations, including one in Fort Worth, tucked inside a comedy club, plus one pop-up in Las Vegas. The new Dallas restaurant is bigger than some, but the CEO still handled the opening in a grassroots manner, spending a scant 21 days tearing out floors and painting walls in a former rundown bar in Uptown.

Time to eat your vegetables. NADC's burger has Mount Olive pickles on one side, "tamed" Mezzetta jalapeños on the other. Williams says those who don't like pickles or jalapeños can ask for them to be removed. But why not try it first?

While NADC’s burger has a “very specific” way it’s built, customers can make changes, Williams said. But the co-owners don’t recommend it.

“Every ingredient was put on the burger for a reason,” Williams said. The team tried about 20 variations before landing on the right recipe.

NADC Burger uses Martin's Potato Buns. Each side is ribboned with a generous amount of "secret sauce," which has a ketchup and mayo base.

“We have just one burger,” he said. “And it has to be perfect every time.”

Say cheese! Each beef patty is topped with a Kraft American single. "The best," said NADC Burger co-founder Neen Williams.

Let’s build their $16 burger.

NADC (Not A Damn Chance) Burger is at 2908 McKinney Ave., Dallas. It opened Aug. 15, 2025.

The company also has a restaurant in Fort Worth at 604 Main St. (inside Big Laugh Comedy Club).

NADC Burger co-owner Neen Williams welcomed guests into the new restaurant in Uptown Dallas on opening day, Aug. 15, 2025.

NADC Burger in Dallas sells a double-double with secret sauce, pickles and jalapeños.

Each NADC Burger is made with two Wagyu beef patties. They're not technically smashburgers, CEO Gavin Humes said, because they're not so thin to get a "lacy" edge.

Next come the diced yellow onions, which are pressed into each NADC Burger patty, then flipped over so the onions can steam from underneath.
