iCaur 03 EV to launch in Malaysia on 9 Sept: Two variants, estimated price starts from RM145k
After months of non-stop teasers since Malaysia Autoshow 2025, iCaur has finally revealed the launch date for the iCaur 03 electric SUV in Malaysia. The revelation took place right at the opening ceremony of iCaur’s first dealership in the world, the iCaur Glenmarie in Shah Alam.

As per the company’s announcement at Malaysia Autoshow 2025, the iCaur 03 will be available in two variants for our market. Likewise, it has also retained the same estimated pricing from back in May:
- iCaur 03 2WD: RM145,000
- iCaur 03 iWD: RM155,000

Originally previewed in Malaysia as a Jaecoo J6 during the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, the iCaur 03 is essentially a B-segment SUV. Physically, this SUV is slightly larger than a Honda e:N1 and BYD Atto 3 Ultra:

The 2WD variant comes with 18-inch wheels, while the higher-end iWD option gets 19-inch wheels.

The iCar 03 2WD features a single rear-mounted 135kW (181hp) motor that also produces 220Nm of torque. Powered by a 65.7kWh LFP battery, the SUV can deliver an NEDC-rated range of 426km or around 362km if you convert that figure to WLTP.
On the other hand, the iCaur 03 iWD has two motors that deliver a combined output of 205kW (275hp) alongside 385Nm torque. This variant also has a slightly bigger battery capacity at 69.8kWh but has a shorter NEDC-rated range of 418km or 355km when you convert to WLTP.
Both of the iCaur 03 variants support a DC charging speed of up to 80kW, which allows them to be charged from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes. They have also been equipped with a single-phase 6.6kW AC charging module and can be used to power up external appliances via their 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature.

As for the tech features, the iCaur 03 comes standard with a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch infotainment display with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The iWD version of the SUV has been fitted with an Infinity 12-speaker surround sound system while the 2WD model has to settle for an 8-speaker sound system.
There are also 6 airbags within the EV, together with a 540-degree camera system that also includes the “Transparent Chassis” feature. As you may expect, the iCaur 03 also features an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite with Level 2.5 autonomous driving capability.
