Allswell: well-insulated interior

The 28-foot (9m) trailer features white LP vertical cladding with black accents, a steel roof, a standard front door and French doors that allow the interior to be opened up to the external landscape. Closed-cell spray foam insulation means the property is well insulated and will keep residents warm all year round.

Inside, the floor plan is laid out over a single level so there's no loft to navigate. There's a kitchen, a dining zone and a sitting area that also doubles as a bed.

Allswell: modern farmhouse aesthetic

The clever lounge features a wall-hung television and built-in storage slots ideal for bags and shoes. As for interior details, the walls are finished with poplar tongue-and-groove cladding, while the vaulted ceiling has been decorated with rustic beams. Crittall-style windows add to the home's modern farmhouse vibe. 

However, this bespoke home's best part must be the private, double bedroom... 

Allswell: private double bedroom

The room has enough space for a double bed, storage units and an ensuite bathroom. It also boasts an amazing custom garage door, which opens up to frame picture-perfect views.

The tiny home is packed with functionality, too. The interior can be heated and cooled thanks to a ductless mini-split system and hot water is provided thanks to a gas propane water heater.

Prices start from just £46,500 ($59k), but for a 26-foot (8m) model, you can expect to pay £94,700 ($120k) and up, depending upon the appliances, finishes, customisations and materials you choose.

Hazle 8.4: open floor plan

The interior spans just 217 square feet (20sqm), but thanks to the home’s generous ceiling and ample swathes of glazing, it doesn't feel cramped. In fact, the free-flowing and open floor plan is very inviting and homely. At one end, there’s a sitting area, a dining zone and a kitchen.

At the other end, you'll find a spacious, fully equipped bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, vanity, linen closet and space for a washing machine. It has a long, double-hung window that allows plenty of natural light to stream in.

Upstairs, there are also two lofted bedrooms, one with space for a queen-sized bed and one suitable for a double bed.

As for design details, the home features a neutral colour scheme, handleless cupboards and natural timber accents. It has LED downlights and task lighting, while a 2.5-kilowatt reverse cycle heating and cooling system will ensure the interior remains at the ideal temperature no matter what weather is raging outside.

Mountain Ash: bedroom built for stargazing

A discreet staircase packed full of storage drawers leads up to the lofted bedroom, which benefits from a statement privacy screen that also allows light to filter through. Prices for the Mountain Ash model start at AU$139,990, or £66,500 ($85k), and can be delivered across Australia.

Napa Edition: cottage-inspired design

Available to customers in the US and Canada, the genius tiny home can be fully fitted out and delivered for just over £74,000 ($95k).

Measuring a mere 236 square feet (22sqm), the Napa Edition was designed with a cosy, cottage feel. Yet it has plenty of modern design elements, too, and can be finished with either dark or light interior details. Featuring white-washed vertical wood panelling and warm timber accents, the light version (pictured) is fresh and inviting.

As for the layout, there's a galley-style kitchen, a dining zone, a large bathroom and a lounge with French doors, allowing you to open the interior up to the great outdoors. There are also two lofts, one that can be used for storage or as a reading nook and another that houses the bedroom.

The sleeping loft is bright and snug, with a pitched ceiling and two side windows that enhance the impression of space. Meanwhile, the bathroom downstairs has a large walk-in shower and a utility space for storing a washing machine and dryer.

The compact property even has a mini split heating and cooling system, so residents can control the interior temperature all year round. There's also the option to install solar panels to generate your own power.

Traveler XL: rustic pine interior

Starting at a little over £76,800 ($98k), the moveable property can be delivered anywhere in the United States and offers a remarkable amount of sleeping space. There's a generous queen-sized bedroom on the ground floor, equipped with a closet and under-bed storage, as well as two lofts and a fold-out couch in the living room.

Traveler XL: multipurpose storage lofts

The model's two lofts can be used as bedrooms or for extra storage. Other highlights include the home's full-sized bathroom, deluxe kitchen and utility facilities, which make life on the move a breeze.

With an array of luxury extras available, you can add everything from a keyless locking system to a jet tub for an extra cost. You can also finish your model with an interior design package to suit your style.

The affordable tiny home benefits from metal siding and French doors that lead out to a four-foot (1m) covered exterior deck, providing plenty of room for relaxing while soaking up your surroundings.

Charme: space for all the family

The Charme is the most spacious model that Minimaliste offers. At a little under 400 square feet (37sqm), it's ideal for families since it has not one but three bedrooms. In fact, it can sleep up to six people. That's because the property features a main floor bedroom and two sleeping lofts – one at each end.

Charme: light-filled and open

The kitchen and the living area are combined into a free-flowing, open space that's filled with natural light thanks to walls of windows. There's also a dining area that can seat up to four people.

No tiny home would be complete without a bathroom and this home has a full-size wash space that can accommodate a bathtub or shower.

Charme: cosy sleeping lofts

The two loft bedrooms can be accessed via staircases with built-in storage. They each have a landing platform with a full-height ceiling clearance.

The Charme model is available to customers across North America and starts at just over £113,000 ($145k). However, the final cost will vary depending on the fixtures and finishes selected.

Denali Park: airy, vaulted ceilings

The home's 399-square-foot (37sqm) floor plan feels remarkably light and airy thanks to its lofty, vaulted ceilings. Picture windows line the main living area, framing views of the surrounding scenery, while the rows of dormer windows channel even more light down into the tiny house. 

From the shiplap wall cladding and exposed timber ceiling to the industrial-style wall lights, the home evokes the aesthetic of the modern farmhouse, the perfect choice for a welcoming home on the road. 

Denali Park: luxury upgrades

The bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, lined in white metro tiles, alongside a standard flush toilet and a vanity unit with extra built-in storage. Available upgrades include a composing toilet, a steam shower and frameless glass shower doors, seen here.

Pricing for the Park models begins at £124,500 ($159k) and the company also offers a shell-only option that allows buyers to design and install the interior themselves.

Boho Ridge: Shaker-style kitchen

Inside, the floor plan encompasses 250 square feet (23m) of space lined with classic white shiplap cladding. Echoing the dark hues of the exterior, the elegant Shaker-style kitchen features butcher-block countertops, a farmhouse sink, a retro fridge-freezer, a range cooker and a black custom cooker hood.

Boho Ridge: innovative storage

Storage has been squeezed into every inch of the innovative design. In the kitchen, there are drawers hidden behind the kickboards, as well as beneath the sofa. More storage is tucked beneath the treads of the staircase, which leads up to a snug loft – one of two in the home – that could be used as an extra living area or sleeping space.

The tiny house is remarkably energy efficient thanks to the structural insulated panels used in its construction. The model also includes a heat recovery ventilation system, a ductless mini-split heat pump, air conditioning and propane-powered hot water on demand.
