As reported by AP News, Iranian attacks hit in and around Tel Aviv as well as in the north of the country. Around 2:30 am local time, a barrage of missiles hit the town of Bat Yam, turning many of the buildings into rubble. Per CNN reporters on the ground, a residential block in the city suffered a direct hit.

On June 14, Israel's President Isaac Herzog visited the site of a deadly Iranian missile strike in Bat Yam. Herzog was at the site where a 10-year-old boy and three others were killed.
