Israel-Iran live updates: Israel conducts strikes in central Iran
Aerial attacks between Israel and Iran continued overnight into Monday, marking a fourth day of strikes following Israel's Friday attack. That surprise strike hit the heart of Iran's nuclear program, killing several nuclear scientists as well as high-ranking military leaders, according to Israeli officials.
The U.S. did not provide any military assistance or have any involvement in Israel's Friday strike, a U.S. official told ABC News.

Israel is conducting renewed strikes on Iran overnight Monday, local time, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
The IDF said it is currently striking "surface-to-surface missile sites" in central Iran.

IDF says over 100 UAVs have been intercepted so far
The Israel Defense Forces said it has intercepted over 100 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones, launched from Iran since the operation began on Friday.

"The Aerial Defense systems and the missile boats are operating to intercept and eliminate threats," the IDF said of its Air Force and Navy.

At least 224 killed, over 1,200 injured in Israeli strikes: Iranian Ministry of Health
As aerial attacks between Israel and Iran continue, the Iranian Ministry of Health said the death toll from Israeli strikes has risen to at least 224 killed and 1,277 injured and hospitalized, according to spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour.

US told Israel President Trump opposed to plan to kill Iranian supreme leader
The U.S. communicated to the Israelis that President Trump is opposed to a plan to kill Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, adding that Iran has not killed an American and discussions of killing political leaders should not be on the table, according to a U.S. official.
The U.S. is not considering joining the war with Iran to eliminate its nuclear program, according to another U.S. official.
Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter, speaking Sunday to ABC News' "This Week," declined to rule out that Khamenei was a potential Israeli target, saying that "nobody who is threatening the destruction of Israel should be off the target list.”

IDF reports 'several' hits inside Israel following latest Iran missile attack
The IDF said in a statement that there were 'several' hits inside Israel following the latest missile attack from Iran.
"Homefront Command Search and Rescue teams have been dispatched to several hit sites in Israel, following the latest barrage from Iran," the statement said.

Trump rejected Israeli plan to kill Iran's supreme leader, per US officials
President Donald Trump rejected an Israeli plan in recent days to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, two U.S. officials told ABC News.
The officials stated that Israel shared with the United States that they had a window to kill Iran's leader but the president was not on board with the plan.

It's unclear if Trump conveyed the message directly to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Reuters was the first to report the news.
Netanyahu was asked about the Reuters report in an interview on Sunday with Fox News.
“There's so many false reports of conversations that never happened and I'm not going to get into that. But I can tell you I think we do what we need to do, we’ll do what we need to do and the United States knows what is good for the United States and I'm just not going to get into it all that," Netanyahu stated.
The White House declined to comment on the report.

IDF says Iran has launched more missiles at Israel
The IDF says Iran has launched more missiles toward Israel and that "defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat."
"The public is instructed to enter a protected space and remain there until further notice," the IDF statement said.
Sources tell ABC News that flashes were seen and booms heard in the skies over Tel Aviv.

IDF says it struck target over 1,400 miles into Iran
The IDF says it struck an Iranian refueling plane at the Mashhad airport in eastern Iran, which makes this, it says, the farthest strike into Iran since attacks began.
"At a distance of approximately 2,300 kilometers, the Air Force struck an Iranian refueling aircraft a short time ago at Mashhad Airport in eastern Iran," the IDF statement says. "The Air Force is working to achieve air superiority throughout Iran. This is the farthest strike since the operation began."
Trump says it's 'possible' US 'could get involved' in Israel-Iran conflict
President Donald Trump told ABC News that "it's possible we could get involved" in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
The president made the comments to ABC News' Rachel Scott. He also reiterated that the U.S. is "not at this moment involved" in the conflict.
Trump also said that he would be "open" to Russian President Vladimir Putin being a mediator in the conflict. "He is ready. He called me about it. We had a long talk about it, " Trump said.

IDF says more missiles launched toward Israel; says 'over 250' targets in Iran struck
The IDF says missiles have been launched from Iran toward Israel and that "defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat." It also warned citizens to "enter a protected space and remain there until further notice."
The IDF said during a briefing Sunday that it has struck "over 250 targets" in Iran since the beginning of strikes earlier this week. It says it is still actively conducting strikes in the country.
The IDF spokesperson also confirmed it struck Yemen Saturday night, targeting a Houthi leader, but cannot confirm whether the strike was successful. There were also projectiles fired from Yemen overnight toward Israel, according to the spokesperson.
The spokesperson warned that "there will be further launches and impacts in the coming days" toward Israel and advised Israelis to pay attention to sirens and alerts.
