Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain meet tonight in New Jersey as the expanded Club World Cup concludes after four weeks. Amid ongoing concerns over attendance at stadiums across the United States and general fan interest across the globe, the controversial tournament signs off with a blockbuster clash between two of the world’s biggest sides.
The Blues are looking to cap an ever-so-long season off with another trophy, less than two months after winning the Conference League and confirming their return to the Champions League in what has proven to be a successful first season for head coach Enzo Maresca. However, in PSG they face what is surely the most fearsome team possible.
Champions League winners PSG thrashed Atletico Madrid in their opening game, knocked out Bayern Munich with nine men and then scored four without reply against Real Madrid to reach the final. That was after humiliating Inter Milan 5-0 to be crowned European champions. What do Chelsea have in store tonight? Follow along with Standard Sport’s LIVE blog below.

Dom Smith reports
19:19 , Alex YoungThe trust shown to Reece James by starting him in midfield against this PSG team is a fascinating call.
But Enzo Maresca's decision to push Enzo Fernandez forward into the No10 role and move Cole Palmer out wide is no real surprise and just a continuation of what we have seen from Chelsea in the US over the course of this month.
Fernandez clearly has the attributes to play in that playmaker role and has done so to good effect in the second half of this season. Can he be the creative spark again?

Chelsea XI
18:39 , Alex YoungHere’s how the Blues’ look!
Head to head (h2h) history and results
18:30 , Alex YoungChelsea haven’t faced PSG since 2016, when the two sides met in the last 16 of the Champions League. Les Parisiens won both of those matches 2-1, and triumphed over the Blues on away goals at the same stage the previous season.
Chelsea wins: 2
PSG wins: 3
Draws: 3

Will Chelsea hold a Club World Cup trophy parade?
18:22 , Alex YoungNo. According to BBC Sport, there will be no trophy parade if Chelsea win the Club World Cup.
Players are reportedly unwilling to further delay their much-needed holidays, which any planned trophy parade would require as the squad and staff would need to fly back to London before presenting the trophy early next week.
The new Premier League season begins in five weeks’ time and the current squad out in the United States already have holidays planned with families, who are attending the game ahead of a quick getaway.
Chelsea’s next game after Sunday’s Club World Cup final is on August 8, as they play Bayer Leverkusen at Stamford Bridge in their first pre-season friendly. That would be the first opportunity for the club to present the trophy, or trophies, won to fans.

How much prize money have Chelsea won so far?
18:10 , Alex YoungChelsea's semi-final win over Fluminense was their fifth of six games, having lost one group-stage game, against Flamengo, and took their total earnings for the competition to around £80m, depending on their exact participation fee.
That total will rise by around £7.5m should they win the final, for a total winnings of £87.5m.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca was asked about the club's £80m windfall following the semi-final victory, to which he responded: "Chelsea have made that. Not me. I prepare for the games in the same way, and I don't care about the money. We don't get any of it, unfortunately."

Chelsea vs PSG prediction
18:00 , Alex YoungThere will be plenty of nervous hand-wringing in the Chelsea camp ahead of the Club World Cup final. PSG are formidable opposition at the best of times, and showed not even the faintest signs of weakness as they mercilessly picked Real Madrid apart. Chelsea have their work cut out for them.
In a positive for the Blues, they seem to have improved steadily in each of their matches at the tournament, but their run to the final has been nowhere near as challenging as their opponents.
It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to pick out a weakness in PSG. They are rock solid at the back, fluid in midfield, ruthless in attack. Donnarumma is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment, and the squad’s depth is an embarrassment of riches.
Chelsea will have to be at their absolute best if they are to come away from the final with silverware in hand. Even that, though, may not be enough.
PSG to win, 3-1.

Team news shouldn’t be too far off.
Predicted PSG XI
17:53 , Alex YoungPSG predicted lineup (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Nuno Mendes; Vitinha, Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia
Early PSG team news
17:49 , Alex YoungOusmane Dembele will tonight lead the line for Paris Saint-Germain following his return to fitness.
Dembele made his first PSG start of the tournament in their 4-0 semi-final win over Real Madrid and played 59 minutes before being taken off with the game wrapped up.
He will form a formidable front three with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue, who will provide the toughest test yet for Chelsea at the Club World Cup.
PSG will again be without suspended centre-back Willian Pacho, so Lucas Beraldo will partner Marquinhos at the heart of their defence.
Vitinha, Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz are set for an intriguing midfield battle with Chelsea trio Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer.
Gianluigi Donnarumma will start in goal, amid reports Chelsea are considering a shock move for the Italy No1.

Predicted Chelsea XI
17:45 , Alex YoungChelsea predicted line-up (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; Gusto, Chalobah, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Neto, Palmer, Pedro; Delap
Early Chelsea team news
17:42 , Alex YoungChelsea have been boosted by the fitness of Moises Caicedo, who was an injury doubt after he twisted his ankle late on in the Blues’ semi-final win over Fluminense.
But the midfielder has returned to training and will back in midfield alongside Enzo Fernandez against Paris Saint-Germain.
Liam Delap was suspended for the 2-0 semi-final win over Fluminense but is available again, leaving Maresca with a big decision over the make-up of his attack.
Joao Pedro was handed his full Chelsea debut up front against Fluminense and scored both goals to send Chelsea to the final.
Levi Colwill is also available again after being suspended against Fluminense.
Romeo Lavia has not featured since the round of 16 win against Benfica.
Noni Madueke has left the Chelsea camp after being given permission to travel back to London to complete his £52million move to Arsenal.
Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian are joining Chelsea after the Club World Cup and have competed for other clubs in the competition, so are not available to play.
