The summer window is in full swing and this week major deals are continuing to be wrapped up. Arsenal confirmed the arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for £5million, and hope to add Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard in the coming days. Further forward, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke are of interest, but it is Real Madrid’s Rodrygo who Mikel Arteta considers his perfect signing. Talks are ongoing regarding Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko as striker options.
Chelsea waved goodbye to Kepa but this week have announced the £60million signing of Joao Pedro, and Jamie Gittens should soon follow for a further £55m. The Blues also hold an interest in Mohammed Kudus, but it is Tottenham who are pursuing the West Ham attacker amid hope of doing a deal for less than his £85m release clause. Spurs will not be signing Antoine Semenyo, who has penned a new five-year Bournemouth contract.
Manchester United are struggling to return with another improved bid for Bryan Mbeumo, after seeing a second worth £62.5m rejected by Brentford. Liverpool are unwilling to part with the £45m Crystal Palace want to let Marc Guehi leave. Follow the latest transfer news, gossip and rumours live below!

Why it does not make sense for Arsenal to sign Madueke
Tuesday 1 July 2025 18:30 , Arthur FerridgeArsenal have been on an upward trajectory for some years under Mikel Arteta and last season reached the Champions League semi-finals.
They feel like a marquee signing away from tipping the balance in their favour, having built a physical and consistent brand of football under the Spaniard.
This has led to links with Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak and Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, transfers that would move the needle, marking a true statement of intent.
Chelsea's Noni Madueke, a promising but equally frustrating figure during his two and a half years in west London, is another player in the conversation as Arsenal search for reinforcements in attack. But a move for the 23-year-old would represent a peculiar decision for everybody involved.

Liverpool target Isak, Osimhen and Ekitike
Tuesday 1 July 2025 10:42 , George FloodLiverpool want to sign one of Alexander Isak, Victor Osimhen or Hugo Ekitike this summer, reports claim.
