PSG manager Luis Enrique hits Chelsea star after Club World Cup final loss
PSG manager Luis Enrique appeared to strike Joao Pedro after Chelsea romped to a 3-0 victory in the Club World Cup final. Chelsea were the underdogs ahead of Sunday’s Club World Cup final at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey but stunned the Champions League holders with a brilliant first-half display. Chelsea did a superb job at preventing PSG from getting back into the final after the break in what former Premier League winger Andros Townsend described as a ‘tactical masterclass’ from Enzo Maresca. Tempers flared during the match as the frustrated PSG players felt the game slipping away. That escalated what was already a significant brawl with Enrique held back by one of his coaches and Enzo Maresca dragging his players away from the scene.
