New Pollstar report ranks St. Augustine Amphitheatre No. 2 in U.S. for ticket sales
Pollstar's 2025 Mid-Year Ticket Sales Report compiles ticket sales for the period between Nov. 14, 2024, and May 14, 2025, and only includes amphitheaters that report their sales to Pollstar.
During that period, the St. Augustine Amphitheatre held concerts by Diana Ross, ZZ Top, the Beach Boys, Chicago, Foreigner, Pretty Lights, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Khruangbin, Willie Nelson, Widespread Panic and others. As a result, it finished third worldwide, behind the Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado and the Sidney Meyer Music Bowl in Australia. The BayCare Sound amphitheater in Clearwater finished fifth in the poll. Among the venues that finished lower than the St. Augustine Amphitheatre in the report are California's Hollywood Bowl and Greek Theater and the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa and Daily’s Place in Jacksonville.

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre seats just under 5,000 fans.
The amphitheater is carved out of Anastasia Island State Park and is operated by SJC Cultural Events Inc., a nonprofit group that also runs the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. The amphitheater seats just short of 5,000 fans.
“This ranking is not just about numbers — it’s about the artists who trust us with their performances, the fans who come to see their favorite acts, and the team that works tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen," said Gabe Pellicer, CEO and president of the organization. "We’re incredibly proud to represent St. Augustine on a global stage.”
