Most of us have very busy lives. Work, family commitments, sleep, and chores can take a huge amount of our time and energy. However, thankfully it is possible for us to take some time, take a step back, and realize what we should be thankful for.

Pay someone a compliment

Let somebody know that you appreciate them by giving them a compliment. They're sure to light up!
Listen

Ask about someone else's life. Make the effort to listen to them, and give advice if it is asked for. Try and be as supportive as possible.
Keep a journal

Just making regular journal entries about all you have to be grateful for in life is a fantastic way to give you a fresh new perspective.
Give a good tip

If you feel like you have been given great service, make an effort to leave a good tip! Often people in service jobs are not well paid and they will appreciate it!
Volunteer

There are many opportunities to volunteer in your local community. Whether that is picking up trash, or helping out in schools or hospitals, it's all worthwhile!
