This creation combines the French croissant that we love and the delicacy of a soft cookie dough inside. You'll see that it's super easy to make and impossible to resist, perfect for a snack or a brunch gourmet break!

Ingredients

Cookie dough :

• 1 egg
• 2 cups flour
• 4.5 oz salted butter, softened
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tbsp baking soda
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1 cup chocolate chips

Croissants :

• 1 roll croissant dough or homemade croissant dough

Preparation

  In a bowl, place the softened butter, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla extract. Mix everything together with a wooden spoon.

  Add the egg and mix well.

  Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well to have a compact dough.

  Add chocolate chips and mix.

  Cut your croissant dough into triangles. Put a small piece of cookie dough on top of the triangle base.

  Flatten the cookie dough piece the roll the croissant dough to form the croissant.

  Add more cookie dough on top of the croissant.

  Put the crookies on top of a baking tray with parchment paper and bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
