Launched on Sunday (22 June), it marked the largest operational deployment of B-2 stealth bombers in U.S. history.
It also saw the first known combat use of the 30,000-pound GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bunker-buster bomb.

The operation began with bombers launching from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.
The aircraft struck Iran’s Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities, targeting the country’s key nuclear enrichment sites, and causing severe damage to all three locations.

Following the strikes, the aircraft exited Iranian airspace without being engaged by Iranian defenses.
The Isfahan nuclear facility was struck by more than two dozen Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from a U.S. Navy submarine.
