OKC Thunder celebrates championship victory with heartwarming parade moments with fans

Despite the spotty service during the 2025 Champions Parade, one thing is clear: the fans showed up for the OKC Thunder, and the team showed up for the fans.

The players got off the buses multiple times during the parade to interact with the crowd. As the parade came to an end at Scissortail Park, the team walked the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy by the crowd, letting people touch it.

Players were high-fiving fans, spraying champagne, and MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander got in the crowd to take pictures with the people.

Chants and cheers followed the players around the parade route, culminating at the stage in Scissortail Park for the closing ceremony, where Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt dedicated a day in July to each OKC Thunder player.
