DENVER (KDVR) — A house just blocks from Pearl Street recently became the highest sale ever recorded in Boulder, according to the listing agent.

Marybeth Emerson, a real estate agent with The Agency, said she sold the previous most expensive home in Boulder for $13 million in January 2023. That was the most expensive home until she sold the house next door on May 2.

While she said there’s a rumor of a higher off-the-market sale, the house on 1505 Sunset Blvd. in Sunset Hill, one of Boulder’s most prestigious neighborhoods, is the highest sale ever recorded in Boulder.

According to the listing, the 7,246 square foot property comes with an unobstructed view of the Flatirons, with floor-to-ceiling windows and see-through balconies.

It’s a five-bed, six-bath house, but it also comes with a lot more. The listing said there’s an elevator servicing all floors, a wine cellar, an exercise room, a spa room, a steam shower and a dressing room. There’s also a heated pool, multiple patios, covered porches and an outdoor kitchen.

The house sold for $14.5 million, reportedly the highest home sale in Boulder.
