New York Cruisers cars on display at Lakeview Plaza in Brewster
Every Friday evening from May to October, car enthusiasts from around the region converge in the parking lot of the Lakeview Plaza Shopping Center on Route 22 in Brewster for the New York Cruisers car show.
"Around six years ago, a few friends of mine got together and decided to have a car club and an awesome spot for car guys to meet," said Tom Broderick, the group's president. "And the New York Cruisers were born."
What started as a small group of car enthusiasts has grown into an event that draws hundreds of people. As a DJ plays music, car owners and visitors can check out the variety, from antique classics to late models, exchanging stories about the vehicles and unique features.
