This Gorgeous New Wallpaper Is Inspired by the World’s Most Iconic Tennis Court

Calling all tennis fans: Chasing Paper has launched a new collection of sport-inspired wallcoverings, and the tennis court-inspired pattern, in particular, is absolutely stunning. With it, you can serve up the style and charm of the world’s most iconic tennis courts at home.

“Summer is a time to get outside, enjoy time in the sun, and is often marked by quintessential events like Wimbledon and the U.S. Open,” says Chasing Paper founder Elizabeth Rees. “We wanted to celebrate our love of sport with these wallpaper designs.”

Chasing Paper’s Match Point wallpaper is available is 3 colorways—Grass, True Blue (above) and Clay—representing the primary types of tennis courts at the Grand Slam tournaments.

Headlining the collection is a signature print called Match Point, which features crisp white-outlined courts on a painterly ground—at once graphic and organic. And with a variety of loosely illustrated players popping up here and there, the design is equal parts sporty and sophisticated.

Match Point is available in three colorways: “Grass,” which calls to mind the elegance of Wimbledon’s Centre Court; “True Blue,” like the hard courts of the U.S. and Australian Opens, including Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center; and “Clay,” in the same iconic red-orange shade of Roland Garros’ Court Philippe-Chatrier.

And like most Chasing Paper offerings, it comes in four wallcovering materials: Peel-and-Stick, Traditional, Faux Grasscloth, and Matte Performance Vinyl. You can purchase 8-inch by 9.6-inch samples of each pattern to give them a try; when you’re ready to commit, the wallcoverings come in drops of 2-feet by 4-feet, 2-feet by 8-feet, and 2-feet by 12-feet.

“When designing the prints for this collection, our team was drawn to the geometric patterns and shapes found on both tennis and golf courses,” says Elizabeth Rees, founder of Chasing Paper. The collection includes two other designs: Fairway, in Green, with golfers, flags, and outlines of course greens, and Top Spin, featuring hand-drawn racquets and tennis balls and available in Green and Cream.
