Kerry Katona reveals she reached out to Brian McFadden’s new wife on their wedding day
Kerry Katona has shared that she sent a heartfelt message to her ex-husband Brian McFadden’s new wife, Danielle Parkinson, on the day of their wedding.
Writing in her column for OK! Magazine, Kerry, 44, said she wished the couple nothing but happiness following their beachside ceremony earlier this month.
Brian, 45, and Danielle tied the knot on Saturday, 5 July, during a stunning celebration on a Cornish beach. The event was attended by friends, family, and Brian’s two daughters with Kerry, Molly and Lilly-Sue.

Speaking in her column, Kerry addressed the renewed attention around her after the wedding, and clarified her feelings: ‘My ex, Brian McFadden, got married earlier this month and I just want to wish him and his wife Danielle a lifetime of happiness.
‘I find it sad though that as he gets married, everyone writes stories about me. His wedding has nothing to do with me at all. I texted Danielle to wish them a happy day – it looked like a beautiful celebration, and I hope they had a ball.’

Brian and Danielle, who met in 2016 and got engaged in December 2019, shared the first official wedding photos on Instagram, showing the pair beaming in white outfits, champagne in hand, against a scenic coastal backdrop.
Also featured in the images was the couple’s daughter, Ruby Jean, who added to the joy of the occasion. Brian and Danielle had initially planned to marry earlier but delayed their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ruby Jean was born in 2021, following two devastating miscarriages.

Brian also shares daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 21, with Kerry. Over the years, Kerry has spoken positively about Danielle and the bond she shares with her stepdaughters.
‘I get on really well with his fiancée. I think I might have a girl crush on her,’ Kerry once shared. ‘ always go off of what my girls say for a stepmum, and she’s the best stepmum.’
