NickelWorld gets new name, hours, prices
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Inflation appears to have made an impact on the world of retro gaming.
New signage and logos can be seen outside the arcade, 3321 N. Main St., which read “QuarterWorld.”

The arcade opened its doors in August 1996.
Almost 29 years later, and the admission fee has jumped up to $2.25. Most games cost 25 cents; some are free, some cost more.
Along with the rebrand and increased prices comes reduced hours.
The arcade is open from noon to 6 p.m., Friday through Monday.
