Reds, Braves unveil special NASCAR-inspired uniforms for Speedway Classic
CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDTN) – Get ready to start your engines Reds fans!
When the Reds and Braves take the diamond next Saturday, Aug. 2 for the 2025 Speedway Classic, both teams will be rocking NASCAR-inspired uniforms at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee.

Major League Baseball and the teams unveiled their special-edition threads on Monday.
The special Nike jerseys “stay true to the usual looks of the two teams, but also feature nods to the racing world,” the MLB said in a press release.
These flashes include custom numbers on the backs designed after the numbers on race cars, specialized New Era caps and Rawlings helmets modeled after the design of NASCAR helmets.
These unique uniforms, as well as the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway ballpark location, will also be available for fans to play with in MLB The Show 25, baseball’s hallmark console video game.
The Speedway Classic will take place on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 7:15 p.m.
