Get ready to go back to Richmond as everybody's favourite football team is back for season four and preparing for their 'biggest challenge yet.'
Ted Lasso has become a huge hit since its launch in 2020, converting even the least sporty among us to football and providing plenty of laughs and tears along the way.
Now it's been officially confirmed that the Apple TV show is in production, with filming taking place in Kansas City and London.

We can expect to see plenty of new faces in season 4 as the show is taking on a different challenge and Ted will work his magic on the women's team.
A longline for the show reads: 'Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team.
'Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.'
Is there a first look?
Yes, but it's very short! A teaser for season 4 shows four of the show's main characters sitting in a red booth at a Gates Bar-B-Q restaurant in Kansas City as someone calls out 'action' on filming.
What's the reaction like?

Quite simply, people are excited! Gaby Roslin summed up the general consensus by writing 'I don’t think I could scream louder or be more excited'.
Someone else said, 'seeing them all back in character again got me teary eyed,' while a third penned: 'Just finished the series again last night… for maybe the 10th time?? Still the BEST. SHOW. EVER.'
Others were slightly more reserved and wondered how another series would work, considering season 3 ended in such a good way.
'Last season ended so perfectly, idk if this will work. But I’m on board,' wrote one person willing to be proven wrong.
