During the afternoon, a cold front will approach the region, helping to fire off some scattered showers and thunderstorms. There is the potential for some storms to become strong or severe. The main threats include gusty winds, hail, and heavy rainfall. Once the front clears during the evening, temperatures will begin to fall. The humidity will fade as we start the weekend, leaving Maine feeling warm and dry.
