There's no such thing as a dream job, is there? For most of us, maybe not, but there are many countries that seem near-perfect for workers, and especially expats. Indeed, there are plenty of places with great working hours and/or other positive factors, giving employees a high quality of life. We delve into exactly that with this gallery.

People move to Malta in search of a better quality of life. Around 75% of expats work full-time in Malta, and it's easy to see why.

Expats report above-average happiness with their work hours (67%) and work-life balance (72%).

Hospitality jobs in Malta seem to always be in-demand. There is also a big gaming industry here.
Oman

Here, the typical working week is quite long, but that doesn't seem to be much of a bother. About 70% of workers said they were happy with their hours.
Netherlands

The Netherlands is a dependable country to move to and work in, with 75% of expats saying they're happy with their work-life balance.

High-skilled workers are sought after in the country, and are given a fast-track immigration process plus tax benefits.
Costa Rica

The average job here doesn't come with much disposable income, but that doesn't make Costa Rican life any less enviable.
Sweden

Workers in Sweden seem to be a pretty happy bunch. The average job requires 42.3 hours per week.

There are many in-demand jobs in education and IT. They are probably the most future-proof jobs in the country.
New Zealand

It's reported that 75% of expats enjoy their work-life balance. High wages also contribute to overall satisfaction.
Czech Republic

Expats work hard in the Czech Republic, spending around 44.9 hours on the job every week.

The country has high levels of job satisfaction, in key industries like the production sector.
Norway

Workers spend around 42.9 hours on the job every week. Many jobs are known for being family-friendly, with benefits for parents.
Bahrain

This island country is nestled between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and has a good reputation among expat workers.

There are many jobs in civil engineering, as well as maintenance, marketing, and sales.
Denmark

It's reported that workers spend around 39.7 hours on the job every week. The country is popular with highly educated expats.
