Carl Mullan’s 2FM show chaos at All Together Now
The 2FM breakfast show from All Together Now was thrown into chaos after Carl Mullan was unable to get in.
Carl and his co-presenter Aisling Bonner present the breakfast show alongside Roz Purcell, with Carl and Aisling heading to Waterford to cover the festival which is being headlined by Fontaines DC, Nelly Furtado and CMAT.
Carl was set to take over the airwaves with Aisling on Saturday, but with Carl heading to the sunny south east on Saturday morning, he hit a bit of a snafu — as he was unable to get his press pass due to the tent that gave them out not being open until 10am, right when the show was set to begin.

‘I’m here, but my pass to get me in is in the blue hut behind me,’ Carl said on his Instagram. ‘The hut doesn’t open until 10am. Myself and @aisling_bon are on air at 10am. Best of luck with the start of the show Ais!’
Aisling — who previously accidentally ‘scared the s**t out of’ Carl after accidentally saying they were due on air at 9 rather than 10 — shared a clip of herself in the mobile studio to let people know when she’d be on air, albeit without her broadcast partner.
‘First ever show in the road-caster,’ Aisling said. ‘But I’ve no co-presenter. Where the f**k’s Carl. Carl is currently being driven in a van I think? He couldn’t get in; the team to let people in weren’t there until 10 o’clock, and our show’s at 10, that’s amazing. So we’re kicking off solo. Oh my god! I hope he gets here soon!’

After Carl texted Aisling to say ‘we’re behind a slow moving water truck, f**k,’ Carl eventually made it into the studio (a whole seven minutes late), with Aisling sharing a video of Carl in the studio proud as punch that he managed to get in.
‘Ayyy,’ Aisling said while Carl smiled and said ‘I made it!’ with Aisling responding ‘thanks be to god.’
The festival will see Fontaines, Nelly Furtado and BICEP top the huge lineup, which includes CMAT, Wet Leg, and Primal Scream.

The sold out festival sees tens of thousands descend on Curraghmore Estate in Waterford, and will conclude on Sunday (August 3).
