Top Five 2025 Fantasy Football Running Backs
Fantasy Football is right around the corner, and it's time to start putting together some big boards. Planning out the perfect fantasy team can be daunting, but the excitement when that roster comes together is unmatched. This is part two of this series, the top five fantasy players at each position in 2025. Next up, running backs.
5. De'Von Achane: Miami Dolphins

Starting things off in Miami is the Dolphins' very own De'Von Achane. Achane impressed during his rookie 2023 season, rushing for 800 yards and eight touchdowns in four starts. 2024 saw that rushing production dip, but his receiving game jumped.
Achane proved himself to be a dual-threat running back last year, hauling in 78 receptions for 592 yards and six touchdowns. The Dolphins' offense is a complex one, but Achane complements it perfectly. Keep an eye on the 23-year-old, he's only getting better.
4. Derrick Henry: Baltimore Ravens

Derrick Henry is a beast until he hangs up the cleats. The 31-year-old Ravens running back showed no signs of slowing down in 2024. He rushed for 1,921 yards, second only to Saquon Barkley, and punched in 16 touchdowns. He racked up 335.4 PPR Fantasy points, averaging 19.8 PPG.
Derrick Henry will slow down eventually, but he just inked an extension with Baltimore for another two years. The 6'3" 247-pound monster is a forever fantasy option.
