Jennifer Garner gave a very special Father's Day shoutout to ex-husband and dad of her three kids, Ben Affleck, in her Instagram stories on June 15.

“Happy Father’s Day to 3 people’s favorite landing spot,” she wrote underneath an old photo of Affleck lying down on the couch with a sleeping newborn on his chest.

Garner and Affleck are co-parenting their three children: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13. They were married for about 10 years before they revealed that they were getting a divorce in 2018.

The former couple's co-parenting relationship seems to be going smoothly.

In a recent profile for GQ magazine, Affleck said, “I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.”

The couple has remained on such good terms that they spent Thanksgiving 2024 together as part of The Midnight Mission’s Thanksgiving Day Celebration in Los Angeles. And Garner has also freely admitted that when it comes to choosing between watching her movies and watching their father's movies, the kids have a clear favorite.

“They don’t mind watching their dad. They don’t want to see me sad and they don’t want to see me in a romance. They don’t love seeing me play someone else’s mom, honestly,” the actress told InStyle in April 2023.

This Father’s Day, Garner also included a tribute to her own father, William “Bill” Garner, who died just over a year ago.

“Being fathered by someone who loves being a dad is a gift,” Garner captioned a video of her and her father walking outside in matching overalls. “Happy Father’s Day to the dads, no matter where you are. To the uncles and grandfathers and father figures, too. We love you.”
