The second weekend of the inaugural States Games of Tennessee concluded with a weekend full of running, disc golf and corn hole.
With Jackson as the host city, athletes traveled from across Tennessee to participate in various Olympic-style sporting events.
Athletes participated in a 5K Trail Run at Pugh Bourne Park on June 14, cornhole on June 14 at the Jackson Fairgrounds, and disc golf at The Bend on Highland on June 14 and 15, as well as a 5K run on June 15 that began at the Farmer's Market.
There is still one final event on June 22 for the State Games, when both juniors and adults can compete in the wedge tournament at Hub City Brewing.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded in every division, and participants who won gold in their respective events are eligible to compete in the State Games of America in 2026, set to take place in Pennsylvania.
