The annual mega sale brings bargain basement prices on everything from electronics, clothes, office supplies and more to a computer screen near you. Additionally, Amazon Prime members can score early discounts on certain products, food delivery, car rentals, cruises and gas.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?

Amazon Prime Day will start Tuesday, July 8, and end on Friday, July 11.

What is new for Amazon Prime Day this year?

Amazon extended Prime Day from just two days to four this year, meaning there's more time to score the deals you want on electronics, kitchen gadgets, memberships and more.

However, that's not the only change this year. Here are a few more new perks to watch for:

Today's Big Deals: This new feature will include themed drops with exclusive offers updated daily. This feature is already live, giving customers access to huge deals well before Prime Day.
Huge deals starting July 1: Prime members can receive up to 30% off Amazon brands starting on July 1. This will include school supplies and household essentials from Amazon Basics (starting at $3) and summer fashion from Amazon Essentials (starting at $12).
Discount on gas: From July 3-6, customers can save $1 per gallon at 7,500 gas stations.
Even more perks: Customers can get $10 off Grubhub+ orders over $20 using code PRIME10 through July 7; 30% off Avis car rentals with a 10% rebate in Amazon gift cards; and discounts on Carnival cruises.

Is Amazon Prime Day only for members?

Yes, you must be a Prime member to access the special Amazon Prime Day deals. However, it's not too late to join.

How much does Amazon Prime cost?

Amazon Prime is also introducing a souped-up version for students and young adults. The Prime for Young Adults membership, which is for 18- to 24-year-olds, has a six-month free trial. After that, the account costs $7.49 per month.

Early Amazon Prime Day deals 2025

The Amazon Prime Day deals had not been announced as of June 25. You can expect a number of electronics, kitchen gadgets and more to typically go on sale during the event.

But you don't have to wait to get some hot deals through Amazon Prime. Here are a few of the best early deals available:

Kitchen and cooking: Find deals on cookware and kitchen appliance deals from Le Creuset, Our Place and more. There are also tons of hostess essentials like cute charcuterie boards, serving trays and more to help you prep for your summer entertaining.
Home improvement: Check out these deals on tools from DeWalt, Fanttik and more.
Garden and outdoor: Score big on finds for your backyard like the Flexzilla Garden Hose, this set of durable garden tools, viral picks like the Grampa's Weeder tool and more.
Smart home tech and electronics: There are deals already available on Beats headphones and outdoor security cameras, portable outdoor speakers and new Amazon devices for your smart home.
