  • She revealed that she and her sister Tamera used to babysit Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
  • Sister, Sister ran from 1994 to 1999.

Tia Mowry is opening up about her Sister, Sister days. The actress, who appeared on the hit sitcom alongside her twin, Tamera, discussed her time on the show in a new Instagram post.

"A lot of people think our journey to Sister, Sister was easy… but trust me, it was far from it," Tia wrote in the caption. "As kids, we faced a lot of heartache and uncertainty. But every challenge taught me something. It shaped my faith, my resilience, and prepared me for everything that came after. I wouldn’t change a thing."

Titled "What You Didn't Know About Sister, Sister," Tia's carousel of images featured '90s photos of the twins and their brother Tahj, who helped them get on ABC in the first place.

"It all started on the set of Full House," Tia's second slide reads. "My brother was cast as Teddy, and since my mom didn't have a sitter, she brought me and Tamera with her. We would sit in the audience while they filmed."

Tahj played a classmate of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's Michelle Tanner on Full House. Labor laws mandate that child actors only work a certain amount of hours, which is why the twins were cast in the same role.

On set, Tia and Tamera often looked after the fellow sisters.

"They had us babysit Mary-Kate and Ashley on set," Tia added. "The crew would have us play with Mary-Kate and Ashley between takes. Everyone thought it was the cutest thing. Twin girls watching over twin girls."

Sister, Sister ran on ABC from 1994 to 1995 before it was moved to The WB network. After six seasons, the show ended in 1999.
