Prince Harry has touched down in New York City for another appearance sans Meghan Markle. In an unannounced visit to the NEXUS Global Summit on Friday, June 27, the Duke surprised attendees when he stepped on stage as one of the event's featured speakers. He then sat down for a chat with NEXUS co-founder and CEO Rachel Gerrol titled "Building Tomorrow: A Conversation on Service, Impact & Collective Action with Prince Harry."
During his remarks, the Duke encouraged the audience to "take care of each other and our children in the future" and "tackle the systems instead of the symptoms keeping us down."

The NEXUS Global Summit is an annual conference for philanthropists and impact investors. Prince Harry thus spoke at length about the Archewell Foundation, the charity he runs with Markle. The foundation made headlines this time last year when it was declared "delinquent" by the California Registry of Charities and Fundraisers.
"An organization that is listed as delinquent is not in good standing and is prohibited from engaging in conduct for which registration is required, including soliciting or disbursing charitable funds," explained a letter obtained by People, which also noted that Archewell Foundation failed to "submit required annual report(s) and/or renewal fees."

It seems all is well with Archewell Foundation at the moment, however, as Prince Harry spoke passionately about his work there, which, he said, is rooted in "something greater than ourselves."
Friday's appearance in New York City marked Harry's first visit since April, when he accompanied Markle to support her panel talk at the Time100 Summit. The Duchess touched on her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, her lifestyle venture, As Ever, and her podcast, "Confessions of a Female Founder."

"A confession for you today that I can very comfortably say is that I'm the happiest I've ever been," she said during the conversation with Time CEO Jessica Sibley. "To have a partner and a husband who is so supportive and have healthy kids who are so joyful...I never would have imagined at this point I would feel so happy and grateful, and I really do."
