‘The Naked Gun’ star appeared on the August 3 episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live.’

The Gist
- During an August 3 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Pamela Anderson was asked her thoughts on her own cooking show, Amazon Prime’s Pamela’s Cooking with Love, being compared to Meghan Markle’s With Love, Meghan on Netflix.
- Anderson—who is on a press run for The Naked Gun alongside Liam Neeson—said, “I didn’t invent cooking shows.”
- Anderson’s comments come soon after Martha Stewart weighed in on Meghan and Gwyneth Paltrow entering the lifestyle space.
Meghan Markle turns 44 today, August 4—and Pamela Anderson showed love towards the Duchess of Sussex on a Watch What Happens Live appearance the night before Meghan’s big day.
On August 3, Anderson was asked by host Andy Cohen, “On a scale from 1 to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show Pamela’s Cooking with Love?” Cohen, of course, was referencing Meghan’s Netflix series, which premiered in March (with a second season due before the end of 2025).

“One,” Anderson replied, indicating not at all. “I didn’t—I didn’t really look, but I mean, I didn’t invent cooking shows.”

Pamela’s Cooking with Love is on Amazon Prime, and in the preview for the show, Anderson said, “I love to cook. I just have always wanted to take things to another level.”

Anderson isn’t the only one weighing in on Meghan’s turn into the lifestyle space lately. Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart told Yahoo! News Australia recently of Meghan and Gwyneth Paltrow’s entrance into the lifestyle space, “I don’t mind. Good luck.”
“Gwyneth’s been very successful, by the way,” Stewart added. “She created quite an interesting body of businesses. She’s admired. She’s won an Oscar, for heaven’s sake, as an actress! She’s pretty powerful.”
Stewart—credited for pioneering the lifestyle space—added of the Duchess of Sussex, “Meghan, I don’t really know very well, and I hope she knows what she’s talking about. Authenticity, to me, is everything, and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important.”

Around the time With Love, Meghan premiered earlier this year, Stewart told Access Hollywood in April that she was “curious” to see the show, saying at the time, “I’ll watch an episode and see how she does.”
