JomCharge EV chargers in front of Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu I in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI), Kuala Lumpur will be turned on this coming Saturday, 23 August. Featuring 4 charging bays, this location is the first JomCharge x DBKL roadside parking spot to go live.
JomCharge Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu TTDI features a 120kW DC charger with two nozzles alongside two individual AC chargers. The charging fee is RM1.50 per kWh for the DC charger and RM0.90 per kWh for the AC charger, although you can further reduce the charging fee by subscribing to the JomCharge Elite plan.

When we visited the site two months ago, we also noticed that the chargers can be activated through card payment terminals. This option is meant for EV owners that is reluctant to use mobile apps and prefer to just tap their credit or debit card to pay for the EV charging fee.

To celebrate the occasion, EV Connection (EVC) is offering a 50% discount on the charging fee at JomCharge Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu TTDI on 23 August. At the same time, the first 30 customers will also receive a complimentary Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah from the renowned Nasi Lemak establishment.
At the moment, EVC has yet to reveal the full list of JomCharge x DBKL locations as well as their live dates. That being said, several locations have been spotted so far, including Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 3 of TTDI and Taman Desa.
