Cleveland APL hosts free pet vaccine clinic on June 28

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland Animal Protective League is hosting their free pet vaccine clinic this Saturday, June 28 for Cleveland and East Cleveland residents.

The clinic will run from 12-3 p.m. at The Salvation Army at 1507 Doan Ave. in East Cleveland.

“This is a great opportunity to keep your furry friends healthy,” Cleveland APL stated.

Cleveland APL said it will serve pets aged six weeks to six years old.

No appointment is needed, but the clinic will be on a first-come, first-served basis to 100 pets.

Bring your pet’s vaccination records to the clinic if you have them.

Merck Pharmaceuticals will provide the following vaccines:

  • distemper/parvo for dogs
  • FVRCP for cats
  • rabies for cats and dogs

Dogs can also be microchipped for free thanks to Cleveland Animal Care & Control, and Friends of City Dogs Cleveland.

Cleveland APL said informative pet care resources and friendly veterinary staff will be at the clinic.
