Chuck E. Cheese Opens Spinoff Arcades for Adults Nationwide
10 Chuck's Arcade locations opened this week across eight states, with plans for more to come

The gaming spot is “created for adults and lifelong fans,” according to a press release shared on Monday, June 30, adding, “Chuck’s Arcade is a modern-day love letter to the games and people who made Chuck E. Cheese great.”
There are 10 locations open now in malls across the country. Specifically, gamers can head to Florida, Connecticut, Oklahoma, New York, Georgia, Texas, New Hampshire and Missouri but the company has "more locations on the horizon."

Each arcade has a combination of new games and classic choices, too. Players win tickets, just like children experience at Chuck E. Cheese, and can trade them in for toys and tokens. Plus, guests can buy Chuck’s Arcade merchandise and retro-themed Chuck E. Cheese apparel.
Don’t worry, Chuck’s Arcade visitors will still get to see the iconic animatronic characters, just in a new way. A member of the robotic Munch’s Make Believe Band (Chuck E. Cheese, Jasper T. Jowls, Helen Henny, Pasqually and Mr. Munch) will stand guard at each arcade rather than perform.

Fans with an appetite for nostalgic games can visit any location but only guests at the Kansas City location can get their hands on food.

Chuck’s Arcade and Pizzeria will serve Chuck E. Cheese classics like pizza and chicken wings, a spokesperson confirmed with PEOPLE. Drink options include soft drinks and ICEEs or beer and wine for the over-21 crowd.
Last year, the New York Times reported that Munch’s Make Believe Band would be phased out from all but two of the 400 U.S. locations. But after fans took to social media to complain, a Chuck E. Cheese spokesperson told PEOPLE that five animatronics will now remain at locations around the country in May 2024.
