The Quad Cities celebrate the 4th of July
It's the 4th of July! Residents of Iowa and Illinois celebrated the founding of our country with fireworks shows, parades and more. From the greens of TPC Deere Run to the streets of Bettendorf, there was plenty of patriotic fun to be had.

The annual fireworks show rung in the 4th of July just a bit early, bringing in viewers on both sides of the Mississippi River on Thursday night in downtown Davenport and Rock Island.

Folds of Honor at the John Deere Classic
The JDC marked the 4th of July with Folds of Honor Friday at the course, commemorating the sacrifices of fallen or injured first responders.

Bettendorf 4th of July parade
Residents of Bettendorf packed the streets for the town's 13th annual 4th of July parade. Aside from showing off some historic fire trucks and helicopters, spectators got to enjoy plenty of candy, too.
