Sober Paint n' Sip at The Ethos

615 E. Mesa Ave. | 5-7:30 p.m. | Enjoy sober paint n' sip and make some artwork for your home. Tickets are $45 and include needed materials and one free drink — your choice of a Beach Front Lovin' or a Sour Candy.

Noche de Fiesta at Pueblo Convention Center

320 Central Main St. | 5-11:30 p.m. | Noche de Fiesta will bring live performances from Tejano singer Stefani Montiel, Grupo Destino and Mariachi Lobos. The event is a fundraiser for the Colorado State Fair Fiesta Committee. Cost is $49.09 and tickets are available at puebloconventioncenter.com.

Comedy Night at El Nopal

1425 E. Evans Ave. | Dinner 5-7 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m. | Visit El Nopal's Blue Cactus Room and celebrate three years of laughs. Starring Ali Kareem, Calvin Reid, Tommy Winn and Hannah Gray. Tickets are $16.78 for the show and can be purchased in advance at eventbrite.com or at the restaurant.

Veterans Memorial Park, 3005 Lakeshore Ave. | 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 6 | Pueblo has averaged one suicide a week for the past five years, so Pueblo United Way is hoping to bring 1,000 people to the event to shine a light on suicide and its impact on the community.
