Former Indiana women's basketball star and Indiana Fever player Grace Berger signs with WNBA team

Former Indiana women's basketball and Indiana Fever player Grace Berger is back in the WNBA, with her third team this season.

The Dallas Wings signed her to a 7-day hardship waiver contract in the wake of injuries to Tyasha Harris and Maddy Siegrist.

Berger was waived by the Minnesota Lynx at the end of training camp, and she appeared in one game with the Los Angeles Sparks last month.

The Fever selected her in the first round (seventh overall) of the 2023 WNBA Draft, with a pick they acquired in a 2022 trade with Dallas. She appeared in 47 games with the Fever over two seasons, averaging 3.9 points.
