Alabama basketball star Mark Sears signs deal with Milwaukee Bucks after 2025 NBA Draft
Following the conclusion of the 2025 NBA Draft, the guard from Muscle Shoals signed a two-way deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, per ESPN's Shams Charania.
In the weeks approaching draft day, Sears was the most consistent presence for the Crimson Tide among mock drafts for major outlets. On Monday, Yahoo Sports had him going to the Orlando Magic as the 27th pick in the second round.

At the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, Sears weighed in at 183.4 pounds and measured 5-foot-10.75” barefoot with a standing reach of 7-8.5” and a 6-2 wingspan.

With a historic Final Four, another Elite Eight run and three Sweet 16s under his belt, Sears finished his three seasons at Alabama as a Wooden Award Top 5 All-American. He ended his time in Tuscaloosa with 2,841 career points to rank 19th in Division I history. Among UA players, Sears ranks second on the all-time scoring list with 1,950 career points, trailing Reggie King.
Sears set NCAA Tournament program records for most points (232), wins (9) and games played (11). In the 113-88 win against BYU on Mar. 27, Sears' 10 treys set the record for three-pointers made in a single game.
